A older, wiser colleague told me today to enjoy the tiny little good things in life because I can't do a damn thing about all the crappy big stuff. So on a day which has just been one long, tiring preamble to getting my pjs back on here's my tiny little good things for today:

The ten minutes between the alarm and getting out of bed where Maisie gets under the covers and cuddles me
There was pork casserole for lunch
There was a Mars bar in my day
Comic Relief Bake Off on catch up
The Mentalist is back tonight

Yes, my good things are nearly all telly or food. So sue me.
