Eucalyptus?

First day back at work after 4 weeks. A long drive to a 3 hour managers meeting then equally long drive to a three hour training session. The venue was a lovely old house whose grounds have been taken over by touring and static vans so the splendour is lost.

Thinking about a conversation yesterday with a friend who insists that getting out anywhere and looking up lifts the spirits, I saw this lovely old tree with peeling bark and soft colour. I think it's a eucalyptus but happy to be told otherwise.

The drive home was tedious but I am now officially working notice before retiring and after today I feel sure it's the right decision
