Derelict Lancaster

Lancaster has very little dereliction. Empty buildings are snapped up for development as student apartments. However, there is a corner of town that manages to be suitably tatty. And, up north, we don't tend to have decorative dereliction, we only have the grim sort.

So, managed to scrape together a Derelict Thursday entry.

Close friend's problems with drug addicted son roll on and on. There only seems to be two options, feed his habit by providing him with  money and be rewarded with abuse and violence or watch him sink to the bottom on his own and still receive abuse and threatening behaviour.
The only advice I can offer is that friend needs to get professional support for herself. Son refuses offers of help that are available to him.
