Union Station

Stopped at Union Station I met some young food activists raising attention to hunger in light of the weekend's G8 summit in the capital. Of course I gave them my support and solidarity and they asked to snap this picture of me for their campaign.

Riding the rails on my way over the Appalachians, past swollen muddy, rivers, little towns, and the rolling green countryside of the Ohio River Valley. Migrating like a bird north with spring to a new semester of ecology in the Great Lakes. Excited for my home away from home and the healing waters of Douglas Lake.
