It's been a good day because....

....1. It was great to see the race horses training on the beach.
2. My 13 year old foxie is fine after an op at the vets having  a tooth extraction.
3.Sorted out a problem with our gas hot water. Company A quoted $300 for travel alone!, Company B gave me free advice over the phone.
4. Got some dry firewood into the wood shed.
5.planted some new vege plants [cabbage,broccoli,sprouts].
6.Put a shoulder of lamb on the barbeque.
7 .Opened a bottle of Australian Shiraz.
