3 is the magic number

Well it was for me this evening. First night out fishing since last season and it was a club competition night. Came 11th with 3 fish, so through to the final. Everyone seemed to be catching stockies put in a few weeks ago, not up to the usual standard but apparently there were supply problems earlier in the year.

Found out i'll be fishing with the winner of the first heat, who normally wins the competition and is a real competitive guy, whereas i just go to relax, enjoy the scenery, catch a couple hopefully and have a chat with the other guys in the club. Not looking forward to sharing a boat with Neil...
