One Hundred and Forty Three

Day 143 22nd May 2012 a work day but I decided to take the kids for an afternoon out to watch the Olympic Torch Relay at Bitton. I collected Chap early from preschool and we set up camp waiting for the arrival of the torch! I bought the kids flags from the Olympic stall outside my work (that's near where today's relay was finishing. They had such fun, we had a picnic, ice creams and Chap not only saw the torch but police convoys, steam trains and a series of big trucks. He was in awe. We had to make a torch for him to run with when we got home! Not a great photo, and I have better of the day but I felt that as a once in a lifetime event it should appear in my 366 :)
