Taking the Easy Way Out
Our friends B and V are coming up on Friday afternoon for an overnight stay with us.
Below is the menu for the dinner we'll enjoy here that evening:
* Gourmet vegetarian lasagna from Ciao Thyme
* Delicious dinner rolls from Avenue Bread
* Green salad with toasted walnuts and homemade raspberry vinaigrette (I had to make something...), using some of the fresh produce from our Dandelion Organic Delivery bin that arrived today
* Choice of cherry ice, apricot ice, or whisky/whiskey fig ice cream (or all three!) from Mallard Ice Cream -- and maybe a few local chocolate truffles as well, since it's so close to Valentine's Day.
* Beer and wine choices, too
I'm definitely taking the easy way out!
