Follow that acorn.

Home for a few days, but all the fam were out today, and with the crackin' weather there was no way I was going to stay inside! Being on the border of Wales means I live quite close to the Offa's Dyke path, so decided to head south and see how far I could get.

Most of the way is pretty straight forward...you just follow the acorn sign, however I managed it and ended up taking quite a detour! In the end I did 13.5 miles, getting followed by cows, sheep, a pony and a jack russell, dodging said animals poo, and generally basting myself in suncream.

It was actually quite lovely to spend so many hours by myself, just with the countryside for company! However it felt so good to see dad when he came to pick me up, with Irn Bru in hand! The ground was pretty rough, and it turns out my boots still need a bit more breaking in...ouch!
