Scared witless

The one and only time I have skied before was 7 years ago and today I had a 3 hour lesson , mostly on the nursery slopes but the instructor decide to take me on the green run and I ended up crashing into a snowdrift - I completely lost my nerve , this after having fallen off the chair lift too !
Lunch, however , was great , at the top of the mountain , the colours so beautiful , but I decided to take the lift down as the safer option !
