NEVER buy a FIAT!!!

Almost 30 years ago Ann owned a ‘Fiat Panda’.  She has never, ever had a car where so many things went wrong and she vowed never to buy a Fiat again.  However, time passes and memories fade, and so four years ago she bought another Fiat.

 

In the last four years we have lost count of the number of windscreen wipers that have been replaced, tyres have been replaced (not including the puncture we had at New Year ) and do any of you lovely Blippers remember the problems we had last January???

 

Today we went to Mawgan Porth so that I could play with my yellow bouncy ball.  I didn’t actually want to play with my bouncy ball today because I was still a bit tired from all the running and chasing I did yesterday.  So I just trotted around after Ann.  I didn’t even attempt to steal balls from two other collies who were playing.  That just proves how tired I was.

 

Anyway we were driving home on the outside lane of the A30, I was in the boot and Ann was giving me a running commentary of what we were going to do (apparently we were going to stop at Tesco so that she could buy macaroni to make three cheese macaroni cheese for tea) when all of a sudden the car shuddered, an orange warning light came on and we started losing power.  Within a few seconds we had no power, and it was all Ann could do to get us off the dual carriage way onto the grass verge.

 

Scary stuff! 

 

We then had to sit there for an hour and a half while all the traffic thundered by.  Weren’t sure whether to abandon the car and stand up the bank or stay put???  Is it better to die of hyperthermia or die because another vehicle had ploughed into us?  Ann did a ‘risk assessment’ and decided as our car wasn’t protruding onto the carriageway we’d be OK where we were.

 

Eventually we were rescued by the RAC.  We LOVE the RAC!

 

And now the car is at the garage.  And the very lovely RAC man brought us home.  Ann reapplied her lipstick while we were waiting for him. Lol!  And now Ann will have to phone the garage first thing in the morning to tell them why they have a strange car on their forecourt.  And whatever is wrong will probably cost us hundreds of pounds.  And we HATE Fiat!!!

 

…………….And now I’ve had my dinner and am snoozing in my bed because being out for most of the day has made me sleepy.

 

…………….And Ann has just drunk two glasses of wine and hasn’t even thought about dinner…………………. because she has no macaroni to make three cheese macaroni cheese????

Ann, has however, got a lot of wine??? LOL!!!
