Oooooops ...

It’s my day off and I've been to the pub, again!!  Well, it’s not as bad as it sounds;    two of my very dear ex-work friends took me to The Farm Restaurant for lunch as a pre-Birthday treat.  We usually meet up on each other’s Birthdays throughout the year and it was my turn to be spoilt today, even though my Birthday isn't until next week.  You can see we enjoyed a glass of wine with our lunch though!! 


The Wine:  'Roman Villa' from Wroxeter Roman Vineyard The Vineyard, a family business was planted in early 1991 on land adjacent to the Roman City of Uriconium (Wroxeter), Shropshire.


Roman Villa
A medium bodied off dry wine with fragrant elderflower and blossom aromas. On the palate the wine has a fresh acidity balanced with ripe melon sweetness giving a smooth long finish. A good partner to light chicken or pork dishes.
