Forth and Clyde canal moorhen

There was a lot of preening going on with this moorhen. The ice has melted on the canal so the swans, ducks and moorhens were moving a bit more freely today. I was looking after MJ again so we walked along the towpath to the swimming pool this afternoon. He loves swimming and it's a sad state of affairs when a grandmother can't take a photo of her grandson poolside. I haven't tried because there are signs saying "no photography" :-(
