Bright yellow

Today was going to be a little like yesterday so, to add variety, I decided to trust my bike and venture away from the villages I knew I could get a taxi or a train back from.  I took a circular route out of the back of Otley but instead of dropping down into Askwith, I continued along and headed down to Swinsty Reservoir, back up the other side, returning into Otley again. 

It’s the coldest I’ve been on my bike.  Despite the hills, the wind chill was quite cutting.  I concluded it must have been the lack of sunlight.  Dull is an understatement and views were non-existent so I was quite pleased I’d put in my yellow lenses into my sunglasses.  

Despite looking like a numpty (because you can see my clip in prescription glasses on the inside), it did brighten up the day somewhat.

There were a fair few big ups and big downs which I enjoyed - particularly the downs!
