The joy of blip

This morning I woke early due to jet lag but also anticipation as I was about to have a blipmeet with Naturelover from Michigan, who has been my blip mate since I started and we honestly never thought we would have a chance to meet up - but serendipity brought us to Las Vegas at the same time for different reasons and the visits coincided for one day only - today. We had no difficulty in recognising each other and had a most glorious day where photography was the only interruption to the chat and luckily I had packed my trusty, and versatile, gorilla tripod to help us record our meeting. The fountain display at The Bellagio also pulled out all the stops and presented us with a wonderful rainbow set against the plumes of water dancing in time with music. Our day culminated when we joined Shelley's husband, Al, for frozen cocktails in an outside bar while the early evening light kissed the iconic buildings of The Strip behind us. Thank you blip for enabling such a wonderful new friendship.
