If I only had a heart

This is my newest art project. Its a "balsa foam relief sculpture" which was fairly easy, yet difficult. The foam is really easy to carve, but very hard to not mess up. I found it challenging to carve it evenly... My sides are reletively even, but when it came to the "middle" of the project, it was difficult to make everything the same level. I'm also really bad at painting. No matter how clean i try painting, something always gets messed up... Honestly, this is the "cleanest" i've painted, if that makes any sense? My project was based off of the Wizard of Oz, being the tin-man's heart clock. I shadowed it to show dimention, and i think it stands out from the other projects because of that.
