A seasider's view

When blipping causes hostile curiosity

For the first time in near 300 blips, I had "a spot of bother" while trying to take photos of this bracken. Yes, bracken, and not a person.

Goodness knows why.

But one of a group of young things taking in the lunchtime sun nearish where I was taking the shots kept commenting (loudly) on what "she" was doing to that plant? (response: taking photos); "seriously, how many photos is "she" taking?" (response: as many as I want) and so on.

It was surprisingly difficult to do the rational thing and ignore her foghorn of daftness.

Perhaps the girl felt the attention should have been on her. I suppressed the old, empty vessels retort...!

Silly, silly, silly - and inexplicably annoying. But I'm better now that I've got that rant out!!
