Lion fish

Gorgeous day in Hervey Bay today! We had no specific plans, so started with a run along the beachfront - C210K Week 6 Day 2 done! Also first time I have really run in public, which is a bit of a milestone for me.
Then walked to the Botanical gardens where we spent time in the Chinese garden, the tropical rainforest, the Aboriginal bush tucker garden, the bush chapel and ( the highlight for me) the orchid house. Some gorgeous plants, so well maintained too.
Walked back to the motel and then took a drive to the aquarium where we spotted this lion fish and also a baby banded catshark (I think). We also saw the reef fish and sharks get fed as well as the turtles.
Had amazing pasta at an Italian restaurant for dinner and now relaxing and recovering so we can leave early in the morning for Airlie beach.
