Indian Jones...

...and the Crystal Skull!

I decided to take a proper lunch break today and walked to the British Museum which is only ten minutes from the office. The sun was shining and the parks were full of people getting their Vitamin D fix. The mood in London really changes when the sun comes out as the pace slows down for a bit and people smile more.

Having played Lego Indian Jones on the Xbox for many hours I felt drawn to this crystal skull! Its quite an amazing object and this is from the British Museum website; "There are some who claim that crystal skulls have healing qualities, emit energy, have the ability to convey vital information or are repositories of ancient wisdom. Large quartz crystal skulls have generated great interest and fascination since they began to surface in public and private collections during the second half of the nineteenth century. The British Museum views the skull in its collection as an enigmatic object of great interest but with no supernatural properties."

I was hoping its superpowers would rub off on me so stared at it for quite a while! I don't think Matt is convinced its worked!
