Kiwiana at the dentist

The annual trip the dentist for hpx today.

First it was the dentist's room where it wasn't the ceiling mounted tv that caught my eye but this poster beside it.

I'd completely forgotten that cup second from top on the left. I was instantly transported back to Mum at her sewing machine and us kids making her a cup of coffee in this cup. She used it when she wanted a cup of coffee but only a small one.

And then there is the plastic tomato you squeeze sauce out of, and a pavlova spread with whipped cream and sliced kiwi fruit on top.

So much here to admire and reminisce over, well if you're a kiwi ;-)

We talked tenis and the poster, my teeth weren't mentioned. I did check and they're fine. Healthy gums and teeth.

Then the dental hygienist confirmed my oral health. I left with the smile only professionally cleaned teeth gives and the lighter wallet only a trip to the dentist gives ;-)

But you only get one set of teeth and it's worth it.
