The Australian Open of Surfing is being held at Manly Beach, but the surf has been pretty dire the last few days. Thankfully the organisers know that these conditions are not ideal for the photographer looking for some action shots, so they have also erected a huge skate bowl for the blip community. Excellent.

Some outrageous tricks and frightening speed, but great fun to watch ... even better when you know it is not your child in there.
