Gray

Finally made it to the Alasdair Gray exhibition at Kelvingrove with Freya this afternoon. We really enjoyed it and my personal highlight was a portrait of Bethsy in Janet's kitchen (not sure of the exact title). Bethsy was a former partner of the artist, a Danish silversmith with whom I have done much business over the years. It was fun to find a personal connection to the work but the illustrative familiarity of Glasgow in the 70's had already won our hearts.
