Men at work.

The 4 day job of bringing Super Fast Broadband  to the village and surrounding area is now well into the third week.  The first and second wave of experts have been fired and the contractor now has BT experts 'on the job'.  The problem lies in the cableing.  The wiring which was laid when the new Telephone Exchange was built in the 1970's has never been upgraded.  Apparently it is very difficult to splice new high tech stuff onto old original stuff.  All I know is that half the village seem to be either without telephone connection or broadband and I, as inhabitant of The Old Exchange (circa 1930) am expected to have all the answers!
p.s. The foreman is a lovely chap, and despite everything is still cheerful.
