Albir's "Anchor"

It's a purely decorative anchor, situated in the 'Rincon'. ...literally in the corner of the beach....but perhaps more accurately, at the beginning of the beach.
It , together with the Lighthouse,.....is very much the Symbol of Albir. It is at The Anchor that friends meet, civic and Charity events are held.....such as the Christmas Fayre,...or a collection by the Red Cross. In the summer evenings, this is where the Open Air Films are shown and where the summer Fiestas are held.
The beach front is photogenic .....but, this morning, the bright blue sky hid the fact that there was a cold wind blowing!
