Would you buy a "Genuine Rolex" from this man?

Our last night in Ao Nang.
There are people selling all sorts of things, in the streets and occasionally they are allowed to come into restaurants. Tonight there must have been a police patrol going on, as suddenly lots of the street vendors were running down the road and diving into the nearest alleyways. It's all very good natured and not at all pushy.
We were listening a few evenings ago when one chap was trying to sell his "Rolex" watches. The Swiss guy he was talking to said "Actually, that's what I do for a living. I sell the real ones" and he continued to look at the alternatives for a good 20 minutes more. At the end of his observations he told the vendor "These are fakes of course, but they're really very good". They sat and chatted for about an hour. Thai people are lovely, and so laid back and friendly.
It's our final night at the coast. Tomorrow we fly to Bangkok and then on to Chiang Mai - and our family. They are flying in  from Taipei via Hong Kong and are scheduled to arrive about 20 minutes after us at the airport, so we are just going to hang about there for them, unless our flight is late.
We are trying to make a notice with their names on for when they arrive, but we have only note pads so it's rather difficult.
Can you tell I'm getting very excited? I haven't even got a red carnation, so I don't know how or even if they'll recognise us!
