For the family

Jama Masid

A leisurely start, setting off at 10.30 for a quick look at the administrative buildings and presidential palace in New Delhi, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi and a visit to Jama Masid, the largest mosque in India which is able to hold 25,000 worshippers.

From the coach we got the opportunity to see the roads and driving habits in India, manic!!! This is a typical street

Road safety isn't high on the agenda. Dad on a motor bike, wearing a crash helmet; mum on the back sitting side saddle holding on to the baby (no helmet) and hanging on to the front or back of dad is the toddler!! Some passengers do make an attempt to wear a helmet, but this is worse than useless.

We then spent many hours driving to Agra. We experienced a sand storm on the way which stopped the traffic for 10-15 minutes.
