The Big Moment

Blip has asked us to participate in 'the big moment' challenge, a photo of our wedding day, to celebrate Valentine's Day at the end of this week. I like how some people have taken a 'then and now' shot, but there is no way Gavin was prepared to do that as he says it is just so depressing seeing how we have aged!! When I was in my early thirties I remember someone in their late fifties telling me how he may have the body of a fifty-something but in his mind he is still twenty-something. At the time I thought, yeah, right, so certain was I that a fifty year old just thought like a very different, old  person - I now know that he was right.

So here we are on our wedding day, twenty one and a half years ago! Time has flown by, it has been wonderful, fun and so worth the journey. I just hope the future generations don't give up on the idea of marriage.
