Friday, February 6, 2015 -- As High as the Sky

We had never seen Estero Bay from this height or distance. Today we had traveled to Cambria, 13 miles north of our community of Cayucos, and when we completed our tasks there, we decided to drive a little back country road out of Cambria and that led us to this amazing view where we could look miles down into the valley and see our beautiful portion of the Pacific Ocean.

We promised each other we'd go back to the "lookout" spot in the future when there isn't quite so much moisture in the air. When this photo was captured, we were just a few short hours from rainfall.
