Orcas !!

What excitement we had today. Occasionally  Orcas [killer whales] come into Raglan harbour to chase and feed on stingrays. We heard on social media that a pod of 10 had come into the harbour. Our son-in-law picked us up in his catamaran and we went out Orca hunting.We scored big time ! We got to the right place at the right time and got some wonderful views of these magnificent creatures.They were so graceful it was utterly amazing.We all felt very privileged to see them in their natural environment.Definitely a day to remember.
