O the summer time has come

Highlights of Queens Park on a sunny evening:

5 games of football, 2 games of frisbee, 1 game of cricket, 1 cricket bat being carried (no game in evidence).

12 runners, 6 people dressed to run but really just walking round the park talking to their friends, 3 games of pitch and putt, 1 man over 50 dressed only in red shorts. No need.

3 picnics, 2 ice cream vans, 1 illegal barbecue. 1 medium cone from the Queens Cafe (exciting continental flavours), mine.
