Andresy Bridge

Day trip from Scotland to my childhood home town of Burton on Trent today, apart from my mother's funeral in a couple of weeks I don't expect ever to be back here again. This is a wee iron bridge across part of the Trent just opposite the library, if you look closely it was opened by the Mayor in 1884, who was an Allsopp, one of the 'Beerage', the group of local aristocracy who owned the breweries in the town.
