Billy Joel Had It Right

Little did I know when I chose the song for our wedding, how true it would be..."I Love You Just The Way You Are".  If anything can be said for the longevity of marital bliss, it might be to heed those words.  I think accepting each other with the good, bad and the ugly undoubtedly has helped us along the way. 

Today we sat down and looked through a box of memento's that I had kept (notice the word I)!  Bob was astounded that I would have kept all of these things, the cards, the invitation, the bills for the cake and reception food, the bill for the flowers, the wedding registry, the menu from staying at the Hilton which confirmed the room#, a napkin from the restaurant where we ate which I had forgotten (It was Ryan's in Morgan's Alley), and last but not least a list of those that attended the reception.

It was fun to look through these and it evoked some great  memories for the two of us...hard to believe that it will be 37 years on April 22nd.  Cheers to us...may it be another 37!!
