Imagining New Worlds: José Parlá and Fahamu Pecou

Today we visited Jose and Fahamu Pecou who are collaborating on a fantastic piece of wall art.  The basis of the piece began with 20 students age 2- 18 who spent a few hours with them drawing on the wall expressing  what they imagine for themselves and the world in the future.  These two artists are incorporating the drawings.  There was so much enthusiasm as they discussed how wall art has been part of humanity .
