Warming in the morning sun

Our weekday walks are usually very quiet and peaceful and this morning was no exception. Whilst not far away we had left the noise of cars, here in the Challacombe Valley it was very quiet and peaceful. On our walk yesterday we thought that we spotted a small group of ponies hidden in a area of dead ground on the lower part of Hookney Tor so this morning we took a closer look and found this small group of about 12 ponies warming their backs with the morning sun.
They made no sign of moving and after a few minuets of taking photographs I moved off leaving them, still warming themselves.
