It's quite a small one...

Quick nip into the local wood with the macro lens and flashgun, well the light wasn't the best and I'm a fan of flashing outdoors!

I have no idea what type of conifer cone this chap is but it was taken with a 90mm macro lens from a few inches away. The flash was off camera with a diffuser using 1/2 power and angled from the left towards the subject. The cone is about a inch in length.

Enough flashing for one day....
