A Sky Worthy of the Mediterranean!

Beautiful sunny Monday, well, for most of it. This is our weather vane that we had made by a local blacksmith. It depicts an oak tree (our house is a Border Oak design) and a sawpit. There was one of those in the village many years ago, it was discovered again by R when the old commemorative 'Hut' (1914-1918 War) was taken down. The close we live in is named after it. I'm choosing to ignore the fact that the paint is peeling off the boards on the garage!
