Kinkaku-ji Temple, Kyoto

Before we left Kyoto for Osaka today, we visited the Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji). The temple was beautiful but I couldn't help noticing this black bird (egret?) sitting peacefully, perfectly zen. We also made it to the bamboo forest before heading on the train to the big city of Osaka. Had a delicious dinner under the great neon lights, then explored the night life a bit before bidding farewell to David.
