Pasture perfect
We turned these young Herefords out to grass on Friday. They're thoroughly enjoying their new freedom and plentiful grass.
This paddock is particularly lovely. Situated between the church and the bluebell woods in the village. It has a public footpath through it. No doubt the cattle's natural inquisitive nature will lead locals to believe they are being chased or trampled. They won't. They have a habit of running at you like maniacs and then screeching to a halt about 10ft from you. But if you don't know cattle it's easy to understand why people panic and run. Therefore leading the cattle to run along with you.
