Cowslips in February!

What a beautiful day! The sun was shining ....... just a light breeze & the temperature had ventured several degrees above freezing!

Before we went to Mum's ....... we decided to have a walk. We went to a little woodland close by for an hour or so.

The first thing we saw was a Cowslip ...... don't think I've seen them flowering this early before! It was beautiful ..... the birds were singing all around ....... there was a definite feeling of Spring! Hooray ..... I do hope so :-)

The only disappointment was that there didn't seem to be any Snowdrops there this year!

It was very difficult to choose today's blip ....... so after great deliberation I have settled for these three shots ....... do hope you like them :-)
