AWOL

We had been thinking about spending a few days out on the lake on the boat, relaxing and kicking back after a pretty busy summer. We took some friends out for a cruise late morning, and the weather was looking really good so decided to put a few things together and head back out again.
A couple of squabs to sleep on, some steak and sausages for the barbie, a few salad ingredients and a chilly bin with some wine and beer...and we set off mid afternoon.
We anchored up in a bay in the arm that heads towards Hot Water Beach. Swam, fished, read and a few drinks, and the sun kept shining till it set at 8pm with a beautiful sunset.....life is pretty good.
Fell asleep to a few waves lapping but that dropped off to dead calm night.
