three graces

I include this blip not for its photographic merit (it is a snap, no more, no less) but because these people are important to me, and because I enjoyed their company today.

Venus and Annette are my friends, and Clara is Annette's daughter ( see April 7th). Clara is about to set off Interrailing around Europe. I hope she has a great time.

We met for afternoon tea in Dumfries, and sat outside, enjoying the sunshine.
