Lily pods

An entire park devoted to waterlilies doesn't sound that exciting in the dead of winter, but it was very pleasant indeed, especially as the sun broke out and the temperature climbed to 18C. Fearless great blue herons kept us entertained, but the photo of the day had to be waterlily seed pods.
