Through the windshield

I was out today for a short time, looking for a good photo of wildlife.  
Another snow storm is rolling in, and the visibility was not that great.  I drove by the field that my favorite red tail hawk lives in, and noticed him in a tree.  I took this shot through the windshield before I got out of the car.  
I knew what would happen, and sure enough, the minute I opened my door, off he flew!
I went down the road, and there on a tree, was a beautiful pileated woodpecker. His bright, red head caught my attention.  He was pecking away on the tree.  I couldn't get a good angle from inside the car, so, just like the hawk, the minute I opened the door, off he flew!
Next time, I'll park far away and walk! :)
