Loving empty shops at the moment. Finding them very blippable.
I seem to be spending a lot of time travelling through town these days – mainly for the daily visit to HJN who's still rehabilitating from The Fall. My days are following a fixed pattern now, of paperwork till 10.30/HJN visit till noon/12.30 onwards Real Work. Making sure I go out to socialise with at least one friend at some point for coffee/film/walk etc per day. Six days a week. If I don't make these things happen like that, I'm convinced I'll become overwhelmed and in some way disappear. Having asked myself when life's going to go back to normal, I'm beginning to realise this may be the new normal. Is that why I'm drawn to emptied spaces, I ask myself. Strange times.
