Happy Birthday to Me!

I didn't quite manage a blip at the end of last week.  Thursday night I had some late night calls in the office and then by the time I was ready to leave there was a gap in the train timetable so I ended up in the Castle with Lizzie and Julia from work - it was a good wee laugh.

Friday I worked from home and then went into town to meet Hannah and Helen for some drinks.  We went to a nice bar in Camden called the Black Heart which I hope I go back to.  We had quite a bit of wine in quite a short amount of time and no dinner - at that point.  We went to the Diner for some food where we then also had a bottle of fizz. 

I got home and cracked open the Amaretto and watched some Charmed - my memory is a wee bit hazy after that.

Steve came home on Saturday morning which was just in time to celebrate my birthday.  I got some fabulous presents including this fish eye lens which I tried out with Rosie.  I think it will take me a bit of playing around with to learn how to use it well.  I wasn't the brightest on Saturday with a wee bit of a delicate head so I chilled out on the sofa while Steve slept off his Jet Lag.  Steve then took me out to the Grove for dinner and it was so delicious!  We had a lovely lovely night.
