Black Hole Sun

This is a fishing loch and the snow gates were shut meaning a cold 15 minute walk through the dark woods (even darker on the way out).

Still.....I had this icy expanse all to myself.

It's always interesting seeing a frozen body of water with your own eyes, but in photography it's a bit boring..............It just sits there being dull and solidified. 
I did like the subtle muted reflections though.
