Who’s top dog?

A lovely sunny day, perfect for all those outdoor jobs.

In yesterday’s blip I said that something was planned for the evening. Well much to my surprise I discovered that we were eating at home and had two unexpected (to me) guests. Friends that we haven’t seen for more than 25 yrs. R had been in touch with them and organised this event as a celebration of my birthday this coming week. We had a great evening and chatted as though we had only met up last week. A superb evening and we won’t wait as long to meet up again.


Today has been busy, time spent in the garden pruning and tidying up, before going into Lincoln with R to buy the equipment that she needs for her trip to Glen Coe at half term. We took the girls with us so that they could have a good run out on West common. It was a bit wet and boggy under foot and a considerable amount was transported home.

PS A bonus is that I slept for 9 hours straight!!
