Tile and Error

The ''home improvements' continued today. We set off and went to look at a new rug and some tiles for the newly-opened (and pretty underwhelming) fireplace. After dealing with Miles tearing up and down the shop and trying every escape route possible, we had to admit that we were a little underprepared and should actually paint the room first and pull up the nasty tiles.

So here we are. Miles had a sleep and Gina and I set upon the flooring in the living room. It's not really hard work, but it takes aaaages. After 3 hours we'd cleared the floor of our new entrance way (well, nearly... there's still a bit of the adhesive that needs some heat-and-scraper attention!). The floorboards underneath are going to look great.
