View from Lewis Hill
The walk over Lewis Hill above North Third is one to savour throughout the year. Since my last trip there considerable tree felling has taken place and although the paths are still there, they will be extremely muddy once the ground defrosts. Fortunately , once the climb up begins there are few problems.
The clarity of light today was fantastic and the views to the hills outstanding . This is looking towards Ben Ledi ( snow covered) with the partially iced reservoir in the foreground. Pretty cool at the trig point but warm like a spring day down beside the water
