Vigilant

The sparrowhawk arrived in the elder tree as the sun began to dip below the horizon, obviously hoping for a late supper from amongst the remaining small birds on the feeders. I live in hope that one day I will blip him through the open window but he is very skittish.

We spent a chilly few hours on Penistone Moor this morning, running the registration for our Club's orienteering event. Good to catch up with friends but we were glad of the hot bath on our return home.
